WHO IS AMERICAN JEM AND WHAT KIND OF MUSIC WILL WE HEAR?

Audiences fall in love over and over again with American JeM’s beautifully crafted three-part harmonies and high-energy performances.  American JeM setlists include some “old favorites” with American JeM harmonies and musical arrangements that span musical genres of Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Rock, Gospel, and Traditional tunes.  And, American JeM band members, Jay Cawley, Ellie Dendahl, and Michael Umphrey compose original toe-tapping, and heart-warming tunes of their own that keep fans cheering for more!  American JeM released its debut CD in August of 2013 and American JeM singles “La Llorona”, “Something In Your Eyes” and “O Holy Night” are available for purchase on iTunes.

The Black Lillies come to Santa Fe on September 5

This amazing group is rapidly climbing the charts.  Currently ranked #11 on the National American charts for their album, 100 Miles of Wreckage, they are rising stars and a certain treat for live music fans.

Their Debut album, Whiskey Angel, just won a 2011 Independent Music Audience Choice Award for Best Album, Americana

They are one of only a handful of independent artists to have been featured on the Grand Ole Opry (debuted in June of this year) and have played additional high profile shows such as NPR’s Mountain Stage.  They are featured in the July issue of Relix Magazine and had a song included on the sampler CD enclosed in the magazine.  They’ve also been featured on National Public Radio and have two concert specials currently airing nationwide on PBS  plus they’ve just been selected to be featured on the PBS series “Music Voyager” – whch has showcased artists like Bela Fleck, Marc Broussard, Grupo Fantasma, etc).
