Nosotros will be sharing the stage with El Tule,
Art, Fashion, Photography, Poetry… of Women and Wild Horses
Gala Fundraiser Event “Saving Wild Horses” Saturday July 6, 6:30-9:00 PM
Kindness and humor, grace and gentleness, honor and integrity . . . these are words rarely used to describe wild horses. In 2010, two women, 42 years apart, came together for the first time to work with wild horses. This collaboration, over a period of three years, has taken them to new insights and discoveries about themselves, about horses, about mustangs, and about the survival of our planet.
They will share their insights, experiences and artistry about and to benefit wild horses of the Center for Inter Species Peace & Justice. Alicia Nation and Victoria Lustig will share their discoveries and artistry; together with Betsy Robinson, Matthew Blank, Jay Fishback and other artists from the area, presenting spoken word, music, fashion art and photography in unique and beautiful perspective on horses and wild horses at the July 6th event.
The Gala will be held at the La Tienda Performance Space from 6:30 to 9 PM and will include music, staged poetry readings, an Equestrian Couture Fashion Show, refreshments, photography, silent auction. Come and learn more about these magnificent and amazing four legged friends and be inspired.
Suggested donation: $15.00. Tickets are available in the Eldorado Area at Barn Dogs, CameronVet Clinic, and Eldorado Vet Clinic. Purchasing tickets in advance is suggested. Remaining tickets will be available at the door.
